The record

No evidence supports the claim that George Soros buys, sells, or transfers personal data to Antifa, or that he funds Antifa. PolitiFact rated a related viral claim, that Soros funds antifa, Pants on Fire in 2020, noting that Soros's Open Society Foundations denied it and that researchers describe antifa groups as loosely organized and thinly resourced.

“Digital twin” is a real engineering term for a software model of a physical system, such as a jet engine or a factory line. No one has built a behavioral clone of individual patriots, sold it to George Soros, or passed it to Antifa, and there is no evidence of any AI system that predicts a specific person's movements for a political group.

Antifa is a loose, decentralized movement rather than an organization with members, a budget, or a data department. After the President designated “antifa” a domestic terrorist organization by executive order in September 2025, experts told NPR that it has no formal structure or leadership, which raised questions about what the designation would apply to.

The project classifies the data-pipeline claim as fabricated. It is part of the fictional organization's worldview, not an assertion by the artists.

Conspiracy theories that cast George Soros as a hidden puppet master behind unrelated events have a long history, and organizations that track antisemitism, including the ADL, have documented how they recycle older antisemitic tropes about secret Jewish financiers. The site uses the claim to show how that template gets reused, not to repeat it as fact.
