The record
James Talarico is a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives from the Austin area and his party's 2026 nominee for U.S. Senate in Texas. He is a former middle school English teacher and has studied at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
"Talafreako" is invented for this site, in the style of the insulting nicknames common in current political rhetoric. Being a teacher and a seminarian are not evidence of anything.
