The record
The counters on this site are generated by a few lines of JavaScript. They start from invented numbers and tick upward on a timer so that the movement appears to be growing while you watch.
No one has enlisted, donated, or chartered anything. No money can be sent through this website. There is no payment processor, no account, and no organization to receive it.
Oddly precise numbers (4,417,203, not 4.4 million) are a false-specificity device: precision implies measurement.
